Scroll Thief Returns

Developing Scroll Thief was a wild ride, and I had a lot of fun doing it. Recently, I found a small team of talented people who thought it looked fun too, and we are enhancing and expanding the game over the next few months. One of the things I've been working on is art for the title screen and loading screen. Here's what I have:

I might end up having him slicing a word in half...maybe the game title. The ninja in the bottom one is not as cartoony, but then the rest of the image is. I'm not sure I like that. Is it distracting?

Scroll Thief (working title) Demo

Demo of the game I made for one of my classes. Special thanks to Josh Cotton for his improvements to the ninja and guard models, and to Melissa Smith for her help with many models and textures. Originally the player was going to have to fight the boss, rather than simply get past it, but I ran out of time.

That's Right, a Ninja

I'm making a video game from scratch for a class project. This is the model I made for the player character.

Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?

I drew this for my wife's cousin who got baptized today. Anna is one of her favorite princesses, and she is a Dr. Who fanatic, so I thought she would like this rendering of her as Anna.

Valentine Puppy

A Valentine puppy for my sweetheart, April. She inspires me to keep on going, and to put everything I have into what I do. The model is my family's golden retriever, Sunny.

Chess Animation of Explosive Fun

At long last, I've rendered this animation, which I finished in 2006. I'm trying to find good sound effects to put with it.

Stone-burrowing Bug

The last project in my 3D class. We were to design a custom insect and place it in an environment. We never got to critique them in class, so if you have any notes for me, post a comment so I can fix it before I submit this in my portfolio. You can see the textures better if you click to see its full size.
